Recently my husband and I decided to take a step back from land meat consumption and migrate ourselves back into our pescatarian and vegetarian ways. We do meat free Mondays and incorporate more vegetables and seafood into our diet. Needless to say, when Caught Online presented me with the perfect partnership I couldn’t resist. It was confirmation of our life choice and why not share our meals and recipes with all of you. Be sure to subscribe and follow on instagram for recipes and food inspiration. Without further ado, let’s get to this weeks recipe, prawn tostadas.
This recipe has two parts to it. The first part is the guacamole and the second the tostadas.
Remove your tortillas from the oven and allow to cool for a few minutes on a rack. They will harden slightly making it quite the ASMR experience as you bite into the finished product.
Layer the bottom with your fresh guacamole and top off with the fried prawns.
Drip and drizzle the sauce over the prawns and garnish with fresh coriander to serve.
Shredded cheddar cheese or crumbed feta cheese.
Quick and simple but not lacking in flavour and flair. One of the reasons I love Caught Online is their commitment to delivering sustainable product at exceptional prices. Over on the website you’ll find a full product description of the items available as well as their relevant listing on the SASSI list. Making the sustainable choice has never been easier. More reasons to hype the brand is the next day delivery, the R150 sign up discount and the ability to win 20% off of your next order when you upload your meals to your instagram stories and tag caught online.
The caught online website is perfectly curated for ease of browse and checkout. Regular specials and a variety of items make it easy to meal plan your week ahead. The dedicated spices and sauces category is an essential last stop before heading to the checkout, it’s just what you need to spruce up your meals.
