High-Low

Success never sleeps… and it definitely doesn’t use being sick as an excuse to slack. Even though I battled with a sinus infection and bronchitis, the wheels never stopped turning as I thought about the current weeks garment.

I knew I wouldn’t have the energy for a piece that took more than 30 minutes to make and so I opted to sew Mila this edgy (slightly oversized) high-low melange tee.

Can you believe that these grunge ripped shorts were jeans just minutes before I took these photos? Well believe it! Mila is obsessed with her new pink gladiators from Mr Price and they are the perfect accessory to take this look to the next level.

Cam and I were discussing her love for clothes and we both see the designer in her come through strong. Sometimes she’ll go through my fabric and take out what she wants me to make her next item in. Her taste level at this age is impeccable and I have noticed how she is drawn to both simple and bold/statement pieces.

The love for fashion and styling I see her show is at times the only motivation I need to keep this dream going.
